Privacy Policy
1. Customer data
If you are a Leasing Lead Gen customer, we hold:
- Account details — your name, business name, email address, and the territory you subscribe to.
- Billing details — handled by Stripe. We receive a customer reference, the subscription status and the last four digits of your card. We never receive or store your full card number.
- Usage — sign-in times, which reports you opened or exported, and technical logs needed to run and secure the service.
- What you send us — emails, sample requests and support messages.
2. Listing contact data
The service works by collecting publicly published rental listings and the contact details published with them. That can include a business name, a person's name in their professional capacity, a business phone number, a business email address and a listing URL.
These are published business contacts — a landlord, leasing agent, brokerage or leasing office — collected from sources where the information was already made public in order to be contacted about the property. They are not verified owners, and we do not collect special categories of personal data, financial data or government identifiers about them.
3. Why we process it
- To provide the service — building and delivering your reports. (Contract.)
- To take payment — via Stripe. (Contract.)
- To operate and secure the platform — logging, backups, abuse prevention. (Legitimate interests.)
- To collect and organise published listing contacts so businesses can be reached about properties they have advertised. (Legitimate interests in business-to-business outreach.)
- To answer you when you write to us. (Legitimate interests.)
4. We do not sell personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising, as those terms are used in California law. We do not run advertising trackers on the marketing site or in the application.
Customers receive reports containing published business contact information as part of the service they have purchased. Those reports are licensed for the customer's own outreach and may not be resold or redistributed.
5. Who else processes it
We keep this list short on purpose. Today it is:
- Stripe — payments and subscription billing.
- Railway — application hosting and the database.
- Our email provider — sending reports, account email and operational alerts.
Each is bound to process data only on our instructions. We will update this list if it changes. We do not otherwise disclose your data, except where we must to comply with law or to establish or defend a legal claim.
6. Cookies and sessions
The application sets a session cookie so you stay signed in. It is strictly necessary and there is no way to use the product without it. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, so there is no consent banner to click through.
7. How long we keep it
- Account and billing records — for the life of your account, then as long as we need for tax and accounting purposes.
- Reports — while your subscription is active, and for a reasonable period afterwards so you can retrieve them.
- Listing contact data — refreshed as listings change; records that are no longer useful are superseded or removed.
- Operational logs and backups — on a rolling basis, then deleted.
8. Security
Access is restricted to what is needed to run the service, data is transmitted over HTTPS, card data never reaches our systems, and the database is backed up before every deployment. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live you may have the right to know what we hold about you, to get a copy, to correct it, to delete it, to limit how we use it, and not to be discriminated against for asking. California residents have these rights under the CCPA/CPRA; if you are in the UK or EEA you have equivalent rights under the UK GDPR and GDPR, including the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Write to privacy@leasingleadgen.com. We will respond within the time the applicable law allows, and we may need to verify who you are first. You will not be charged for a reasonable request.
10. If you are a listing contact
If your published business contact details appear in our data and you do not want them there, email privacy@leasingleadgen.com with the listing or the details in question and we will remove them and suppress them from future collection. You do not need an account, and you do not need to explain why.
11. Children
The service is for business use by adults. It is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. If a change materially affects you we will give notice by email or in the app. The effective date at the top always tells you which version you are reading.
